She has recently started to touch things with just the index finger of her left hand. Sometimes she will hold a toy in her right and and inspecting with her left finger, too cute.
She is also getting much harder to photograph! I usually take her picture in this chair, but not today! She was much to wiggly.
It was a beautiful day today so we sat in the grass for a little while. Norah pulled up some grass, but mostly she just stared at the dog who was sitting near by. Last Saturday she figured out how to sit up by herself. Now it's all she does, even when napping. She fell asleep sitting in her crib and I had to lay her down! Last night we decided she was sleep sitting, moving around a bunch and whinning but not actually waking up. Guess she's going to be like daddy in that way too! (He used to sleep walk a lot)
This last month has been pretty hard since she decided to stop sleeping through the night. Ugh. We've been working on eating more solids during the day and it's been hit or miss so far. There are a few things she doesn't care for, pears, squash, and several things she really likes, apples, carrots.....and a few combo foods. We're now up to eating (or trying to eat) solids three times a day. It seems to be helping her sleep longer, last night she went to bed about 9:30pm and only woke up at 3am and 6am. Sigh. Overall she is a wonderful happy and healthy baby! But we do miss sleeping through the night.....

That does happen sometimes when transitioning from all milk to solids too. That is hard! Glad she is doing well eating. What I tried to do was feed the girls some cereal before bed and then hope that they were full enough to make it through the night. Also it is a bit of a habit to break to not wake up and eat at night! :) She is pretty cute though! :)
can you believe 7 months?! She is sooo cute with her pointer finger! I can't wait to come see her sit up in action! Evey is starting to crawl up on things now if its a few inches off the ground! Makes it fun cause she doesnt know how to get down besides crawl right off the edge! Love the chair pic btw! i think its my favorite month pic so far! Very very smiley!!
I love the picture of her 'pointing' - she's such a dolly
So sweet! I love the photos, Lynnette. :-) You have a beautiful daughter (George, I'd start taking some martial arts...or look into local convents) ;-)
