We've had some odd weather here lately. A few days ago I saw the sun shining on the hill behind our house with some foggy clouds above. It looked so cool I just had to take a few pictures.

Ooblick?
You know, the cornstarch and water mix? We were bored the other night and trying to think of things to do with Norah. So I said to George, 'Hey I have an idea, but it's going to be messy' and he said, 'Oh yeah? Like making Ooblick?' It was so funny that he instantly thought of the same thing!
Pie
I really wanted an apple pie last week, so I decided to just make one. It turned out pretty good! I know a few changes I'd make next time, but not bad for a first try.
I had some leftover dough and filling so I made a tiny pie for Norah.
She liked it! Although, she liked the crust more then the apples, which I thought was odd since she loves apples. I guess she just doesn't like them cooked.Sunday, January 9, 2011
