My day started with the following:
George "do you know what today is?!"
me "umm thursday?"
G "yea but do you know what else?!"
me "ah thursday the 28th?"
G "yup, and do you know what that means?!?!"
me " um no?"
G"FIREWORK SALES START TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I think I followed that with a great deal of eye rolling and comments about saving money etc... not that it matters, I've come home to find George and Galen (brotherinlaw) here with a BOX each of fireworks. They had only stopped lighting them because of the rain. Well guess what? It's not raining right now, any ideas where they are? :) Don't get me wrong I love the fireworks, I'm a pyro in my own right, but those boys take it to another level....good thing they've both married into a pyro family!

That is so funny! I am glad that he likes fireworks! I like them as well but with the cost and the kids, we just do sparklers and maybe a fountain or two! :)
you both are such a hilarious couple! Have a great 4th on the 2nd! hehe And I LOVE LOVE LOVE fireworks when someone else does them - even the last time I was at your house for the 4th, I was a nervous wreck! have fun and be smart. mama
YEAH FIREWORKS!!! I wish I could be at the Fort this year...there just isn't any better display anywhere! I'm going to give the show here another shot, but don't any of you Vancouver people miss the Fort! Tell me all about it!
