1/4 of the way there!

So yeah, 10 weeks now, yay :) Other than being tired all the time, and having no appetite, I'm doing well. I actually lost 3lbs in the last week. I'm sure I'll start gaining soon but I thought that was interesting. I have my first appointment with my OB on Thursday so I'll get the blood tests back and the official reading of the ultrasound and all that stuff.
So here's what parents.com has to say about week 10:
The embryo reaches a developmental milestone at the end of this week--it has achieved its basic structural form, and will be known as a fetus (Latin for "offspring") from now until it reaches full term. Because the fetus is still curled up in a snug position in the uterus, it's hard to measure an exact length including the legs. For this reason, health professionals use the crown-to-rump measurement, or the distance from the top of the head to the buttocks. Your baby's crown-to-rump length is now about 1 1/4 inches, and he/she weighs less than half an ounce.

Tonight George and I are going to babysit Kaylee! Jamie and Galen are going out for their first dinner date since she arrived in Dec. They have about a 3hr window between feedings, but that should be plenty of time for driving/eating. Hurray for cute squishy babies!

I understand why, it was pretty early on and you didn't want to jinx anything......
