In his bed!

Yesterday I was cleaning up Owen's room. He's still sleeping in the packnplay by our bed right now, but I felt the need to start getting his room ready. I got the crib all set up first and laid him in it while I worked on sorting clothes. He was pretty happy babbling away while Norah played in the room and I sat on the floor. Then it got quiet. I peeked at him and his eyes were drooping so I gave him a binkie. Not long after that he was out. Eventually I covered him with a little blanket and he napped for almost two hours!

He must like it! I'm not sure when we'll actually move him in there at night. Probably not for another month at least since he's still up several times at night to eat.

Green!

We were out running errands and didn't make it back by naptime.

Guess what that means?

No nap!

So Norah helped me make cookies instead.

Hopefully she'll be in bed early tonight.

He's almost too long for it now, and we're not really sure what we're going to do when he out grows it! Since he's not sitting up yet we can't really have him share a bath with Norah.

Kitchen sink maybe?

Gotta love all those baby rolls!

However, he peed in his tub the other night so George gave him a rise in the big tub!

Norah thought it was pretty funny to have brother in her bath.

3 months

My handsome little guy.

Time to wake up and stretch!

I love his baby stretches in the morning.

We're still swaddling him so once those arms get free watch out, they go up and up over his head!

Then it's time to get Norah.

Thankfully she's always happy to see Owen.

After breakfast it's time to hang out in the jungle!

I can't believe how big my baby is! Not just that he isn't a newborn anymore, but that he's so much bigger than Norah was at this age. He fits in all his 6mth sleepers already. George weighed him on our bathroom scale and he's just over 15lbs!

Our nights are getting better. We get him to bed not long after Norah, usually around 9pm. Lately he's been sleeping 4-5 hours before waking up to eat. Thankfully he's a quick nurser and I usually have him back in bed in 15-20mins. Then he sleeps another 3 hours, eats, sleeps more....and is up for the morning around 7-7:30. It's pretty manageable for 3 months old!

He smiles a lot, giggles and laughs a bunch (especially at Daddy), and has tons of baby babble which is adorable to listen too.

I love my squishy baby!
